"i made a little rainbow square to contribute. i thought a rainbow was the perfect symbol of hope, and would weave together all the colors of the blanket. when i first took a wet-on-wet painting class as part of waldorf teacher training, our instructor encouraged us to paint a rainbow whenever we were feeling off, down, or in a funk. it always cheers me, and i hope that it will do the same for kelly's family, especially her little boy."
