Here I stand in front of a pile of wooden craft sticks that soon were turned into an extensive castle complete with a draw-bridge, many rooms and flags lining the top!
It always amazes me to see my children's hearts, heads, and hands turn something so simple into something grand!
Welcome to the final installment of Wandering Wednesday!
an old pine came down earlier in the month. The clean-up is almost complete. The stump smells of the sweet scent of pine forest. ~ Maribeth
Here I stand, pausing a few moments before I resume my task of filling the bird feeders. Charlie (our new rescue kitty) has decided to keep me company. Perhaps he has a vested interest in keeping those bird-feeders full? ~ Peggy
Here I stand folding laundry again. It is the one chore I loathe. I don't mind washing, I don't mind hanging, and I don't mind putting it away. But the folding, it is my nemesis.~ Valorie
here i stand on the trail with my children, hunting for the first gifts of autumn. the sight of this shiny chestnut peeking out from the forest floor at us brings squeals of delight every time. they are a most treasured find. ~Rae
Here I stand, barefoot on the grass, enjoying this warm late summer day. I have just come out of the greenhouse with a harvest of tomatoes and squash, and paused to admire the hydrangea. This gorgeous bush is abundant with huge blooms - blue, pink and mauve just now, but Autumn will fade them to old red and finally turn to a parchment-like transparency in Wintertime. ~ Jaqui
Here I stand positioned amid pretty pedi's in polka dots. ~ Beth
Here I stand with my littles. We collected over 20 pounds of tomatoes today. I am thankful that our garden is still giving us this wonderful fruit. ~ Jess
Here I stand with my helper. We're trying to transform the cat room into a play room. ~Melissa
Here I sit with my feet dangling over the pool, the scent of flowers wafting through the air, the sound of bees humming around, bird song, a stack of books,my thought journal, a pen, and of course the cat. ~Valarie
Here I stand for a moment atop a staircase that is over one hundred years old. This beautiful home still boasts it's antique furnishings and now is home to an antique toy collection that we were thrilled to explore! (Of course I will be blogging this adventure next!)
