.: I shared the word "SHINE" through my artful stones. :.
I greatly enjoyed both hosting and participating in the artful stone swap! I am honored to share with you today part one of the adorned stones. In a future post I will share the second half of the artful stones!
Each stone that arrived brought with it excitement and anticipation. What word would the artist share on her stone? What medium would she would choose to adorn it with? Every stone was made with care and it shows. Each stone is incredibly creative and beautiful. What moved me the most (and a few times to tears) were the letters that accompanied each stone. Whether of heartfelt childhood memories or of a gorgeous walk in the woods, all were inspired stories of happiness, joy and beauty. We are all so different yet very much the same and our stories are shared through our stones.
I want to give a big thank you to those of you who have participated. Thank you for writing such positive words on your stones--they hold weight in my home and in my heart.

.: The one thing that most all of the stones held in common was that they were wrapped and tied with goreous yarns! This yarn is from this series of stones. The next series of stones also came wrapped in such beautiful yarn. I look forward to thinking of a creative way to savor these as well! :.
